This was a great event where everyone enjoyed visiting the various points of interest from a clue sheet as well as finding certain items enroute. Teams took photographic proof that they had visited the site and/or found the items. We had a fanatstic turnout at Friday’s Quiz Night! Teams battled it out, laughter filled the room, and a great time was had by all. Our second visit of 2026 to the Isebrook Courtyard Garden on Saturday was a real success. The good weather gave us the perfect window to cut the grass, weed, sweep the paths, clear leaves, tie in climbing plants, and give the whole space a proper tidy. We also planted new shrubs and flowers from Bosworth Nurseries and made sure all the beds were well watered. We held a great event at Chester House on Saturday 13th September and yes, we avoided the horrible weather that postponed us in July! We had over 85 classic cars and bikes alongside live entertainment and family-friendly activities. We had a fantastic team of six supporting Cransley Hospice this year — Tony, Trev, Linda, Brian, Jim and Paddy. A big thank you to them all for giving up their time over the weekend. Over just two days, and alongside many other volunteers, we helped collect 1,720 trees for recycling , raising an incredible £27,300 for the hospice.
